....more glue booking has been happening:
I found an old nurses dictionary in a charity shop for 20p. The red fabric I have used for my glue book page is part of the handmade cover of the dictionary. A nurse (I presume) had once sewn it onto the book. The pages were worn and old and listed medical terminology. I liked the idea of these ailments rattling around and by repurposing them I have given them some relief....
The string is my heart, it is knotted and confused today...
The blue is like the blue of the sky - open and beautiful but distant
The silver is a gift of hope that ended up being not what it said....
for the pocket of this page I wrote out my heart and folded it up into a secret and bound it with thread
...today I need to close this page.
So gorgeous, creative and original, Emma! One of my favourite things you've done - definitely performance writing! Borrowed the title from the Pharmacy of Stories, perchance? ;)
