first aid kit:

I deconstructed the collage I made in a previous post, and using faux chenille technique, collage, embroidery and some used/found objects made these talismans.... I also learnt how to use a power drill, which I believe now makes me officially a grown up.

I think these talismans will be useful for emergency first aid; maybe for sore knees and sore hearts. They also could help un-muddle a muddled mind that is in all kinds of not very helpful knots.

Like a deranged magpie I'm currently gathering a collection of objects to make more things with. The little plastic duck is my most recent find. I found him on the way to work on a rainy morning:

quack.

  1. The dangly bits turned out well! Is drill therapy better than stitch therapy, or are they on par? :o)

I like all the different textures!

  2. hmmm, i think they may be on par! but maybe drill therapy has more of a novelty factor. also i can't take it on the train as easily as my embroidery (which is a shame).... can you imagine whipping out a power drill on the 8.24 to waterloo! :) heehee
